Here among silvery and crooked olive trees you can enjoy the view over endless lines of crisp green vines with sweet grapes hanging lazily in the warm sun, and in the distance rows of proud dark green cypress trees. In the dark and warm summer evenings with singing cicadas as a background orchestra, you find yourselv sitting with a table full of Italian specialities such as salami, pecorino cheese, Parma ham and naturally a bottle of the local red wine, the Chianti soaking in the relaxed life of the Tuscan countryside.

FIND YOUR WINERY
Search and you shall find - your own paradise among the vines and olives in Tuscany. Many of the local farmers have found a way to sharing the lovely surroundings with travellers. They have turned some of their property into apartments where you can rent a villa or an apartment on a weekly basis. In finding the right place, there are only a few things to consider. Whether being close to the sea is important, or if the swimming pool at the property is sufficient. Also consider the position of your farm. If you want to see the classic sights, such as Florens, Siena, Volterra, and Pisa, make sure that you stay between Siena and Florens. For instance in the famous city San Gimignano, the city with the towers. Staying in that area means staying in the famous Chianti area, and therefore, there are plenty of possibilities to visit other wineries and taste your way through the countryside.
THE LANDSCAPE
Before our inner eye we all recognize Tuscany. Any photo of the Tuscan landscape will reveal its origin and no one will doubt where it was taken. The ochre coloured houses with the green window shutters, the inviting landscape dressed in almost transparent watercolours, grey-green olive trees, dark green forests, and the rust-red stripes of the local soil reveals where we are. Should there still be any doubt, the proud green cypress trees standing like exclamation marks in the distance, will throw light over the mystery. Not just the visual beauty of the landscapes attracts us the lovely smell of wild rosemary and resin from a sunburned pine tree is the essence of Tuscany. Golden corn fields in saturated colours recalls memories of summer, and when the last rays of the sun goes down behind the forrest and the sky changes from light pink, over violet, to a pitch dark sky with shining stars you feel at home and Tuscany will forever be in your heart.
